In the beginning:

Mantis Computing was set up in 1998 as part of a project looking into the Millennium Bug, the results of this project was many hosts were not compliant so we decided to expand into the Internet Services arena, and we have continued to grow ever since to over 1500 clients and that number is increasing each day.

Today:

We are a customer focused company, this means you can call us, and we will answer the phone, you can tell us what you need and will advise and supply as needed.

We have a farm of IBM & Dell servers in Data Centers in Manchester, Aylesbury and London.
The idea behind using three separate Data Centers was to ensure we maintain a very high level of continuity across our infrastructure.

Most of our servers are VM Servers or VPS servers (Virtual Private Servers) sharing very powerful hardware nodes, we also offer UK based dedicated servers.
VPS's are future proofed as they can be copied on to new and faster hardware nodes as they become available.
We can also copy or move a server between data centers a lot quicker than a courier can drive up and down the country.
All of our kit and web hosting servers is located in UK data centers and support is also UK based.

What we are not:

We are not a reseller for anyone, we hold the wires and the bits.
